Changing Your Reality, Values and Mindset - First Requirements To Be Financially Free

I quit my job because I want to be wealthy. This put a shock to my officemates. “Are you crazy? What are you thinking?” These were some of the questions they asked me, of course in gentler ways. I gave them a variety of answers to satisfy their curiosity. I did not want to hurt their feelings because my core reason was to spend less time with them because they were all employed. I could not stand talking anymore about projects that I do not own, our upcoming performance evaluation, salary increases, and so on.

I decided to change my reality. Spending most of my time at work everyday forced me to think, act and talk like an employee. But the values and mindset, words and actions I needed to be wealthy were that of tycoons. I could not desire greatness and embrace mediocrity. I burned bridges to my assured monthly income (what they call a salary) but instead of being scared, I figured it should motivate me more to succeed.
