It was a few days after I join the community, I was about to go to bed that night. As a normal habit, I opened the player at my notebook and played the inspirational playlist. The first song that is on the playlist is the "Pilgrim's Theme", one of my favorite songs. I paused for a while and reflected on every words from the song...

Tired of weaving dreams too loose for me to wear

Tired of watching clouds repeat their dance on air

Tired of getting tired of doing what's required

Is life a mere routine in the greater scheme of things.

I didn't know what's with that night, but its like the song speaks directly to my heart. As I asked myself, how many years had passed that I feel that tired within me? As I looked back, maybe because all these years, I know I am doing something I have to do and pushes me because I need to do it and not the thing that I really wanted to do. Dreaming things over and over again without even knowing the path to make it happen.

Through with taking roads someone else designed

Through with chasing stars that soon forget to shine

Through with going through one more day - what's new

Does my life still mean a thing in the greater scheme of things.

I remember the days when I was on my former employer, I had to sacrifice a lot of my time for my loveones to make their plans happen. It was their road not mine. I made dreams but those dreams were dependent on my work to make it happen and not on my own way. And so when trouble comes, it would make me feel upset that I almost forget my dreams, only hatred. That's the employee world offers.

I hope to find my place

So my life can fall in place

I know in time I'll find my place

In the greater scheme of things.

Somehow, I know I have the strength within me to try new things and make my every dream possible. I just don't know what's holding me back. It's good to have a community that let me show how to find it, letting me realize my inside belief that is the main source of what's happening around me whether it is good or bad.

Each must go his way, but how can I decide

Which path I should take, who will be my guide

I need some kind of star to lead me somewhere far

To find a higher dream in the greater scheme of things.

It gives me a double meaning. I guess I found my guide with the community. But of course, people in the community still believes that we have one Great Guidance from above. And I know each and every one of us can be an instrument to others to go far to the greater offers of life.

The road before me bends, I don't know what I'll find

Will I meet a friend or ghosts I left behind

Should I even be surprised that You're with me in disguise

For it's Your hand I have seen in the greater scheme of things. (REFRAIN 1)

The path to success always includes a turn. You will never know what will happen next. It might get you hurt, it might bring you happiness. Either way, you’ll never know it until you jump in with both feet. As the saying goes, "Whatever happen in your life, NO MATTER how bad it looks like, it’s never always a misfortune." Everything happens for a reason. Whatever it cause you, its for your own benefit.

In the greater scheme of things

I believe, everyone of us has been into a situation that life has always something to offer. There would be a small voice from within saying, "c'mon, get it", but somehow, since the outer world is more visible than our inner world, outer world has more the power to influence our decision not to go because of the negative feedbacks it gives. What we really do not know is that, the inner thing inside us has the greater power to move mountains and make things possible. If only we just let it grow and believe in the power of it, greater things will fall into place.
